Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to have a good understanding of the physiology of normal fetal and placental development and pathoiphysiology of placental dysfunction.
  • Participants will be able to incorporate prenatal imaging strategies to establish a differential diagnosis for the type and severity of placental dysfunction that is present and the main goals of management
  • Participants will be able to select the most beneficial surveillance and management approach understanding the strengths and weaknesses of current management strategies.
