Madeline Perry, MD is National Clinician Scholar in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Perry’s research examines how state-level Medicaid policy can result in differential pregnancy outcomes, especially for people with high-risk maternal health conditions. She is especially interested in the implementation of Medicaid policies providing coverage for non-physician birth support. She aims to identify opportunities to provide wrap around care during the perinatal period and facilitate cohesive, multi-disciplinary postpartum care.
